Laundry Manager

2. Plans and directs laundry operations.
   
3. Hires, trains and supervises laundry staff;
   plans and schedules work directly and through a lower level supervisor;
   teaches washroom science and the short formula to washroom employees.
   
4. Sets standards for production and quality of work performed. Studies operations and procedures and institutes changes within scope of authority.
   
5. Installs production controls on each laundry machine and programs computerized washers. Keeps production records to track amounts of linen and clothing processed and shipped to various locations;
   prepares reports of laundry activities.
   
6. Prepares purchase orders to maintain linen inventory and supply of cleaning chemicals.
