Beverage / Restaurant Develop and execute innovative pastry and bakery menus in line with the restaurant's concept and standards. Oversee all aspects of pastry and bakery production, including recipe development, preparation, baking, and presentation. Train, mentor, and supervise pastry chefs, bakers, and kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in production. Manage inventory, ordering, and procurement of ingredients and supplies for the pastry and bakery department. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the pastry and bakery kitchen. Monitor food costs, wastage, and portion control to maximize profitability while maintaining quality. Collaborate with other kitchen departments and management to develop cross-functional menu items and promotions. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in pastry and bakery production. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times. Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and custom pastry requests with professionalism and efficiency. EXPERIENCE,, AND SKILLS Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment. Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts or baking. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Creativity and passion for pastry and bakery arts, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of pastry and bakery techniques, ingredients, and equipment. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Commitment to upholding high standards of food quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
